Amazon and Winn-Dixie Team on Grocery Delivery

Move marks e-tailer’s inaugural grocery partner collaboration in Florida

Amazon has expanded its grocery offerings in Florida by teaming with Winn-Dixie to make the Southeast regional grocery store chain’s products available for delivery via Amazon.com. Customers in Jacksonville and Orlando can now shop for Winn-Dixie’s broad selection of grocery items on Amazon, as well as for the e-tailer’s own grocery and everyday household essentials.

“We’re always looking for ways to make grocery shopping easier, more convenient, and meet evolving customer needs,” noted Sophie Turrell, director, U.S. grocery partnerships at Seattle-based Amazon. “By bringing Winn-Dixie’s selection to Amazon, we’re giving customers in Jacksonville and Orlando more choice and flexibility in how they shop for groceries, all with the convenience of Amazon delivery.”
