A son in transition from male to female was arrested after an altercation with her father.
A deputy responded to verbal altercation involving a firearm at an undisclosed Leesburg residence around 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The father of 32-year-old Jesse Alan Blocker stated the altercation turned physical with his son, transitioning to his daughter.
The two started arguing over needing to buy new water filters for their residence when Blocker allegedly threw a box at her father and hit him in the torso area. He kicked her to prevent further harm, and she went into a bedroom to retrieve a black .22 rifle, the report said.
Blocker then went into the kitchen to confront him, leading him to grab his own firearm as the argument continued. Moments later, she ran out of their home across the street to a neighbor’s home with the weapon, the report said…
