Suspect arrested after allegedly threatening ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend

An Orlando man was arrested for burglary after allegedly opening the door of his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend’s vehicle to threaten him.

An officer responded to the police department, located at 115 E Magnolia St., regarding a walk-in who wanted to discuss threats from 48-year-old Camiche Fundora Rodriguez around 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Upon arrival, the victim explained he was leaving his residence with his girlfriend to run some errands and buy some items. They were sitting inside his vehicle in the parking lot when his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, Fundora Rodriguez, opened the door. He put half his upper body inside the vehicle, pointed at the victim in his face and told him he had 24 hours to leave her residence or he would take care of him, the report said.

The victim feared for his life due to Fundora Rodriguez having the ability to carry out his threat of violence. He lived in the city and knew where the victim lived, the report said…
