Florida deputies rescue autistic child from deep retention pond

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies are being hailed as heroes after rescuing an autistic child from a retention pond on Saturday.

According to a post on social media, Corporal Andrew Pupo and Deputy Noel De Jesus were the first to arrive on the scene when an autistic child wandered into a deep retention pond.
