A Clermont couple was arrested for battery after attacking each other during an argument in an apartment.
Officers responded to Advenir at Castle Hill apartments, located at 13600 Hartle Groves Pl., regarding an argument between 27-year-old Rasi Augustas Harper and 27-year-old Jamil Bonita Hamilton around 10:45 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department.
As the officers approached the top floor of the building, they found Harper sitting on the staircase. He stated he had been bitten by Hamilton, his girlfriend of four years, during an argument. Other officers met with Hamilton inside the apartment, and she proceeded to give her account of what happened, the report said.
Hamilton stated she knocked on the apartment door, and once inside, they started arguing in the bathroom. They swung the shower curtain back and forth until Harper eventually shoved her into the bedroom. They tussled, ending up in the living room where he then shoved her into the TV, the report said…
