ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida’s minimum wage just went up to $14 an hour this past week — part of a plan voters approved a few years back to slowly bump it up to $15 an hour. But some businesses are already paying their employees even more than that.
Evan Delaney’s specialties are baking and owning a business. He owns Great Harvest Bakery in downtown Orlando. But there’s something else he takes pride in — making sure his employees are taken care of when it comes to pay.
