Orlando seeks to add 35 new red-light cameras

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando City Council is looking to expand the number of red-light cameras at city intersections as commissioners plan on doing a second reading of this ordinance on Monday afternoon.

They will vote Monday after the second reading at the city council meeting that begins at 2 p.m.

City leaders say the goal is to reduce the number of traffic violations, crashes and fatalities…
