Florida Authorities Search For Possible Kidnapping Suspect Who Offered Victim A Ride

Authorities in Florida are searching for a possible kidnapping suspect after the victim escaped a vehicle she wrongly believed to have been an Uber.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said the clerk at the Rebel convenience store at 2294 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee called 911 at around 4:08 a.m. Saturday to report a possible kidnapping.

The victim reported walking eastbound on E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway toward the intersection of Cross Prairie Parkway when a silver SUV stopped and the driver offered a ride. The driver was described as a “possibly Hispanic male in his early to mid-30s with a handlebar-style mustache, wearing a black T-shirt over a white undershirt and a black baseball cap, and reportedly smoking marijuana,” the sheriff’s office said…
