Woman awarded $11.3M after fall at Target store

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WKRC) – A woman was awarded last Friday more than $11 million by a jury after she tripped and fell at a Target store.

The incident occurred on Dec. 23, 2019, when the 44-year-old plaintiff was navigating the parking lot at Winter Garden Village shopping center, WFTV reported.

While carrying her daughter, she tripped over a seam where asphalt met the concrete gutter, causing her to fall and suffer multiple fractures. The seam was found to violate several building codes…
