Osceola County Families Receive Holiday Meals at Annual Food Distribution Event

Hundreds of families in Osceola County, Florida, received holiday meals during the second annual Holiday Food Distribution event. The event was hosted by Osceola County Vice Chair and District 3 Commissioner Brandon Arrington. It took place at St. Rose of Lima Church in Kissimmee and was organized with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. This year, 600 local families received free meal packages. Each package included meat, fresh produce, canned goods, and other basic holiday items.

The event used a drive-thru format to provide a safe and efficient process. Families lined up along Pleasant Hill Road before the 10:00 a.m. start time. No identification was required. Each vehicle received one meal package. The event aimed to be accessible to all community members.
