‘You’re forced to play chicken with traffic:’ Safety upgrades coming to Orange County intersection

PINE HILLS, Fla. – Orange County officials are implementing new safety measures at a dangerous intersection in Pine Hills following multiple crashes and persistent community concerns.

A resident sent a message to the News 6 Results Desk, saying the intersection of North Hiawassee Road and Coral Cove Drive has become a hazardous zone, with speeding drivers and visibility issues creating dangerous conditions for motorists.
