Aptia Group, a U.S. employee benefits administrator and provider of pensions, health, and insurance services, has opened a new office in Lake Mary, Seminole County, in the Orlando area. The company states that this move is part of its plan to expand in the U.S. and improve service to clients nationwide. The new office is expected to create about 60 jobs and will support Aptia’s hiring in the country.
Aptia’s expansion into Central Florida follows growth in its U.S. business, especially in benefits administration for mid-market employers. The Lake Mary office adds to Aptia’s locations in Urbandale, Iowa, and Boston, Massachusetts.
The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) assisted Aptia by providing information about the region, organizing site visits, and connecting the company with local workforce and educational institutions.
