A Tallahassee woman was arrested for driving under the influence when she was found asleep in the UF Health parking lot with alcohol and burnt blunts.
Officers responded to the UF Health Emergency Room parking lot, located at 4405 S Hwy. 27, regarding 36-year-old Myrna Mayo sleeping in her vehicle at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department.
Upon arrival, the officers found her with the vehicle still running and the smell of alcohol coming from her person. She also had glassy, watery eyes. She advised that she was coming from a comedy show in Kissimmee and had been drinking, the report said.
Mayo then agreed to participate in field sobriety exercises. Her performance, including loss of balance and not following instructions, led the officers to conclude she was under the influence. A search of her vehicle revealed a 6.76oz bottle of Smirnoff, a bottle on 13% alcohol and two burnt blunt wraps, the report said…
