Those giant neon pigeons, the 16-foot-tall inflatable ones, are migrating back to downtown Orlando on November 8, just in time for the Hispanic Chamber’s Hola @ the Park celebration.
The glowing birds first landed last summer as part of the Downtown Development Board’s rotating public art series by Creative City Project, turning ordinary rooftops into perches for a flock of technicolor pigeons. What started as a playful nod to the city’s most overlooked residents became one of downtown’s most photographed art moments.
