ORLANDO, Fla. – On Tuesday, PepsiCo Foods U.S. announced the shutdown of its Frito-Lay plant in Orlando.
In a statement, company officials told News 6 that the move will close down the manufacturing and warehouse operations at the plant, which is located near Silver Star Road and John Young Parkway.
Officials further explained that the shutdown was “driven by business needs,” though the company plans to provide transition assistance, career support, and pay and benefits to affected employees during this time…
