A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing, support and services to survivors of domestic violence is working on opening a transitional housing community construction project, with construction slated to start next year.
Harbor House of Central Florida, which provides short-term emergency shelter for those in dangerous situations, revealed the stable bridge-housing project, called Our Grove, during the organization’s Purple Door Luncheon in early October, amid Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
