In a tragic occurrence last night, a 74-year-old Orlando man lost his life after being hit by a car while attempting to cross a busy road in Orange County. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the accident took place on East Colonial Drive (SR-50), in the vicinity of Old Cheney Highway.
According to WFTV, the man stepped into the path of an eastbound Chevrolet Cruz sedan sometime before 7 p.m., which resulted in the fatal collision. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 22-year-old man, and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman, were reported to be unharmed…
