A Central Florida man was sentenced for a deadly ambush shooting at local apartments.
23-year-old Thallas Inman will spend life in prison for the automatic-rifle ambush that killed an 18-year-old and injured two others who were parked at a Sanford apartment complex in 2022.
Seminole County prosecutors Stewart Stone, Rich Coln and Donovan Wagner recently convinced a jury to find Inman guilty of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder and two related charges.
At Inman’s sentencing, Circuit Judge Michael Rudisill imposed three life sentences for the murder and attempted murder convictions plus 15 years for shooting into a vehicle and 15 years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
