Bakery 1908 opened at 2788 E. Fowler Ave. on Nov. 13. Tampa now has access to Asian pastries, dim sum, and drinks. The shop moved into a space once held by another bakery.
Before coming to the Bay Area, the business earned praise as Orlando’s top-rated Asian bakery. Handcrafted sweet buns built its reputation — matcha, lemon, and pineapple were among the flavors that drew crowds. Cheesecake slices sat alongside steamed and pan-fried dim sum.
Tampa’s spot carries everything the Orlando store offers. Buns filled with cream cheese or red bean? They’re here. Cakes topped with drizzle, ham-and-cheese rolls, and milk teas spiked with alcohol round out the menu. Strawberry Cream Buns and Black Sesame Loafs are available too…
