Orange County family pleads for answers after woman stabbed to death at home

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County family is searching for answers after 45-year-old DeGwendolyn “Gwen” Floyd was stabbed to death at a Pine Hills home on Nov. 28, just one day after Thanksgiving.

Her sister, Rashonda Floyd, says the loss has left her family devastated. Before Reading what she wrote for Gwen’s obituary, she said, “These have been some of the worst days of my life.”

Deputies found the Floyd around 11 p.m. on Friday while responding to a stabbing reported out of the 2800 block of Rockingham Circle, the sheriff’s office said. She was then taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead…
