U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on an Orlando man who left the scene of an accident on Interstate 75.
A trooper responded to a multi-vehicle crash on I-75 northbound near mile marker 334 in Oxford around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Two subjects, including 29-year-old Armando Hernandez Hernandez, had fled the area on foot.
During the investigation, it was determined Hernandez Hernandez was driving a 2010 Volkswagen Golf during an accident with another vehicle. He did not remain at the scene after the crash, violating Florida statutes, the report said.
He later admitted to driving at the time of the crash despite not having a valid license. He also had keys in his jean pocket when speaking to the trooper, the report said…
