The City of Orlando plans to request the release of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or after December 16, 2025. The request is part of a project to renovate the Christian Service Center at 808 W Central Blvd in Orlando, Florida. The City’s Housing and Community Development Department posted the notice on December 5, 2025, at 400 South Orange Avenue.
The project will use $700,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Planned work includes reconstructing the parking lot, replacing the HVAC system, painting the facility, upgrading the irrigation system, and renovating the Intake Center. The parking lot project will address drainage, add a new asphalt surface, and increase ADA-compliant parking spaces from one to three.
