A Florida college senior has been arrested after he ordered 1,500 rounds of ammunition to his dorm, where authorities later found an automatic rifle that violates university policy.

Constantine Demetriades was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 3, after a large shipment of ammunition led to the discovery of an AR-15 rifle in his dormitory at Rollins College, a liberal arts college in Winter Park, Fla., according to FOX 35 Orlando, CBS affiliate WKMG and ABC affiliate WFTV.

A delivery containing 1,500 rounds of 9mm ammunition arrived at the college for the 21-year-old student, prompting campus officials to investigate, WKMG reported, citing a criminal complaint. According to the outlet, officials then searched Demetriades’ room and found the rifle (he shares the dorm with three other students, but has his own room)…
