FLORIDA — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in the stabbing death of a Pine Hills woman late last month. Deputies say 33-year-old Tremon Jones has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 45-year-old Degwendlyn Floyd.
The attack was reported around 11 p.m. on Nov. 28 at a home in the 2800 block of Rockingham Circle. According to investigators, surveillance video shows Floyd arguing on the phone shortly before opening her door, where she was then stabbed.
When deputies arrived, they found Floyd critically injured and rushed her to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries…
