ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a Pine Hills woman who was attacked at her home late last month, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Tremon Delo Jones into custody on Friday, December 5, and charged him with first-degree murder in the killing of 45-year-old Degwendlyn Vakaye Floyd. The attack happened on November 28 around 11 p.m. at Floyd’s home on Rockingham Circle.
Investigators say surveillance video captured the moments leading up to the stabbing. Floyd appeared to be on the phone and engaged in an argument before answering her front door.
