Spectrum News 13 journalists help provide meals for the hungry

ORLANDO, Fla. — 8,720 meals. That is what volunteers were able to help provide by coming together and rolling up their sleeves to sort food donations.

10 student athletes from the 14U Elite Ricardo volleyball team at Nona Volleyball Academy participated after their parents suggested they do so instead of having a Christmas party.

One of those student athletes is Alessandra Hardiman who says, “We chose to be here today so that we could give back to the community and make sure everybody has a good Christmas dinner.”…
