CLERMONT, Fla.—One person was killed and three others were injured in a five-vehicle crash near Clermont Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 and Greater Groves Boulevard and involved a 2017 Audi A7, a 2015 Lexus RX, a 2018 Subaru Outback, a 2023 Honda Civic and a 2020 Toyota Camry. The driver of the Audi, an adult woman, was airlifted to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Subaru, a 24-year-old Clermont man, and his passenger, a 23-year-old Winter Garden woman, were transported to AdventHealth Four Corners ER with non-life-threatening injuries, along with the Toyota’s driver, a 25-year-old Tavares man.
