Dougie’s Dog Bar Opening In Orlando This January

ORLANDO, FL — Dougie’s Dog Bar is targeting a mid- to late January opening in Orlando, Adam Harbin, VP of development and a partner, told Business Debut. The concept is planned for 1978 Stanholme Way, Suite B, Orlando, FL 32804.

What to Expect

Dougie’s is positioning itself as a “human-friendly dog bar,” Harbin told Business Debut. The indoor bar area will be dog-free except for service dogs, while the patio will allow leashed dogs without a membership requirement.

The differentiator is an off-leash yard area that will be available to members or guests who purchase a day pass. The team plans to verify dogs are a fit for the yard, including confirming vaccinations, before access is granted, Harbin told Business Debut.

Harbin said the space is designed for longer stays, with features including a 16-foot outdoor Jumbotron, dog splash pads and audio throughout. The layout includes about 2,000 square feet indoors (about 30 seats), a roughly 2,000-square-foot patio (about 30 to 40 seats), and additional seating in the yard, for an estimated seated capacity of about 75.

Menu and Vision

Food will center on a pizza-based lunch and dinner menu, with additional small bites meant to be easy to share, Harbin told Business Debut. Planned items include a shareable meatball slider, mini corn dog bites, pretzel boards with beer cheese and dipping sauces, chicken fingers, french fries and kettle chip nachos…
