The Orlando Sentinel has now stepped directly into the Pulse crosswalk saga.
The newspaper filed a lawsuit this week against the Florida Department of Transportation, saying the agency has failed to turn over public records tied to its decision to remove the rainbow crosswalk outside the Pulse nightclub.
What they want is simple. Documents that explain why the crosswalk was removed in the middle of the night of Aug. 20 and what rules FDOT says it violated. Those requests were filed in late August. More than four months later, the Sentinel says most of the material still hasn’t been released…
