Rents in the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metro are continuing to ease as 2025 comes to a close, offering renters some relief after several years of steep increases.
The Realtor.com® November 2025 Rental Report shows that Orlando is firmly part of the national rental cooldown, even as affordability pressures remain significant for many households.
Orlando rents decline, but affordability is still a challenge
The larger Orlando metro area posted a 1.8% year-over-year decline in median asking rent for 0- to 2-bedroom units in November.
Lower rents are helping at the margins, but affordability remains strained for lower-wage workers. Two minimum-wage earners in the Orlando area would each need to work about 51 hours per week to afford the median rental while keeping housing costs at 30% of income.
