Kissimmee police officer sentenced to seven years for child exploitation

ORLANDO, Florida — Dariel Javier Quiles-Davila, a 27-year-old former officer with the Kissimmee Police Department, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for receiving child sexual abuse material. Quiles-Davila was found guilty by a federal jury on August 22, 2025.

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Quiles-Davila met a minor victim while on duty in October 2023. After obtaining the victim’s contact information, he communicated with the minor via his personal cell phone and social media, sent money, and solicited sexually explicit photographs and videos.
