ORLANDO, Fla. – If you ask drivers what frustrates them most on Central Florida roadways, one complaint comes up again and again: drivers going too slow in the left lane.

Believe it or not, driving too slowly, especially in the left travel lane, can be just as problematic as driving too fast. While it may not feel dangerous in the moment, it can actually contribute to congestion, aggressive driving, and even crashes as faster-moving vehicles are forced to pass on the right or weave through traffic.

Recently, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office highlighted this issue on Instagram after conducting enforcement targeting high-speed drivers.
