ORLANDO, Fla. — A new law that took effect at the beginning of this year is making it possible to track anyone who has been found guilty, or pleaded guilty or no-contest, to cruelty to animals.
Dexter’s Law was named after Dexter, a dog who was adopted in Pinellas County and found dead in a park days later.
