A Kissimmee man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he turned Walmart’s return policy into a personal payday, hitting dozens of stores across two states in a “phantom” refund scheme.
Branden Nikita Brown, 31, was taken into custody last Friday by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. He is accused of orchestrating a retail theft operation that spanned more than a year and netted nearly $10,000 in fraudulent payouts.
