The woman who died after going on the Revenge of the Mummy ride at Universal Studios has been identified, and her cause of death has been determined.

Ma de La Luz Mejia Rosas became unresponsive after riding on the indoor roller coaster on Nov. 25, 2025, according to a report from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services that has been viewed by PEOPLE.

New details about her death have also been revealed in a report from the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, which determined that Rosas, 70, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center on Dec. 9, 2025, of a ruptured aneurysm without trauma, according to the Orlando Sentinel
