Orlando firefighters faced an unusual recovery task last Wednesday morning when they spotted a flash of metallic red where it didn’t belong – partially submerged in a roadside retention pond. The vehicle, quickly identified as a C8 Corvette Stingray, was lodged in the water near the busy interchange of State Road 417 and State Road 528.
