A Davenport woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a deputy found her severely damaged vehicle sitting in the Verizon parking lot.
A deputy noticed 31-year-old Corina Siara Reyes sitting in a silver minivan parked at Verizon, located at 501 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. A closer look revealed severe damage on the front right of the vehicle as well as deflated tires with severe tread and sidewall damage on the right side.

She had glossy eyes during this conversation and used the car for stability when she got out to explain why she was parked at a closed business. She also voluntarily opened the passenger-side door, which revealed a bottle of alcohol on the floorboard, the report said.
When asked about the damaged vehicle, Reyes stated she hit a curb on the way home from Tampa. Her story ultimately changed to say she was coming home from work at Applebees and took a wrong turn onto Interstate 4 toward Tampa. She believed she was in Tampa, not Clermont, the report said…
