Olympic track star Sha’Carri Richardson arrested after driving over 100 mph in Florida: deputies

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Olympic track star Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested in Florida on Thursday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said a traffic enforcement deputy pulled over a driver who was traveling 104 mph on State Road 429 near Stoneybrook Parkway on Thursday.

The driver, who was identified as Sha’Carri Richardson, was dangerously tailgating and traveling across lanes to pass other drivers, Orange County deputies said.
