A grand jury has indicted Jeffrey London on the charge of first-degree murder with a firearm in the recent death of retired Orlando police officer Dennis Turner, as stated in court records. Turner, a veteran who spent 23 years with the Orlando Police Department, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital after being shot on New Year’s Day outside a home on Kozart Street.
London, identified as Turner’s father-in-law, was apprehended after fleeing the area, according to ClickOrlando. Law enforcement officials from Polk and Highland counties assisted in locating him.
