A Facebook Marketplace meetup in Florida took a turn when the buyers tried to steal the seller’s Playstation 5, dragging him “several hundred feet” as they drove away, authorities said.
The Winter Springs Police Department said the three suspects traveled to Winter Springs on Feb. 17 to meet an individual who was selling a PS5 through Facebook Marketplace. They “decided not to pay the victim,” the sheriff’s office said, but when they tried to flee, the victim reached into their vehicle to try to retrieve the game console.
The suspects allegedly pepper-sprayed the victim, who continued holding onto their vehicle. As the suspects sped away, they allegedly dragged the victim “several hundred feet” before he fell away, sustaining minor injuries…
