Frequent trespasser recognized in Walgreens parking lot in Clermont

A homeless man was arrested for trespassing while speaking with customers outside Walgreens in Clermont.

An officer on patrol spotted 58-year-old Michael Joseph Fradette talking to people parked in their cars at Walgreens, located at 699 E Hwy. 50, around 2:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department.

The officer recognized Fradette as a transient person who had been trespassed from numerous places across the city. Due to this, he told dispatchers there was a suspicious person in the parking lot and got out of his patrol vehicle to speak with him. Fradette began to walk away until the officer called him back, the report said.

Fradette then stated he was only there to use the restroom, not acknowledging speaking with any of the store customers. Dispatch subsequently confirmed he had been trespassed from the business on Dec. 3, 2025.
