ORLANDO, Florida — A 61-year-old drill crew member was fatally injured in a worksite accident at SR 415 and Pioneer Trail, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, identified as Lea Marshall Brunson of Orlando, was replacing a drill head when the accident occurred. An initial investigation suggests that the drill shank rotated due to torque build-up, causing a chain wrench to break free and strike Brunson in the head.
