Cold front moves through bringing windy, choppy conditions

ORLANDO, FLa. – A fast-moving cold front sweeps through the region on Saturday, bringing gusty winds and prompting a wind advisory that will remain in effect through Sunday afternoon, with gusts reaching up to 40 mph.

A high surf advisory remains in effect through Saturday evening and lasts into Monday morning, with waves reaching up to 13 feet. Hazardous beach and boating conditions are expected through the weekend and into early next week. A high rip current risk continues through Sunday. A gale warning is in effect from Saturday evening through late Sunday morning, followed by a small craft advisory from late Sunday morning into Monday afternoon.
