Bahama Breeze to Close Final Locations Starting Today as Parent Company Reshapes Portfolio

ORLANDO, Florida — Fans of Bahama Breeze are preparing to say goodbye, as the Caribbean-themed dining chain is set to begin closing its final 28 locations starting April 5, marking the end of an era for the once-popular brand.

Known for its laid-back island atmosphere, tropical cocktails, and Caribbean-inspired menu, Bahama Breeze built a loyal customer base over the years. However, despite its following, the chain has struggled to maintain enough demand to stay competitive in today’s dining landscape.

Final Closures Begin This Week

Parent company Darden Restaurants confirmed that 14 locations will permanently close on April 5, while the remaining 14 locations will be gradually converted into other restaurant concepts over the next 12 to 18 months.

The company has not yet revealed which brands will replace Bahama Breeze at those sites but indicated that the properties are considered valuable assets within its portfolio…
