Gaunt Cows Near Apopka Spark Social Media Uproar, Deputies Step In

A small herd of cows in a field near Apopka has become the center of a social media firestorm after photos and videos showed the animals looking unusually thin. Orange County deputies say the Sheriff’s Office Agricultural Crimes Unit inspected the herd, determined the cows are undernourished, and is now working with the owner on a feeding plan, with follow-up visits already on the books.
