Two students arrested after guns found at two Florida high schools

FLORIDA — Two students were arrested Thursday after firearms were found during separate incidents at Seminole County high schools, according to school officials.

Seminole County Public Schools said lockdowns were initiated at both Seminole High School and Lyman High School after administrators received tips about possible weapons on campus.

At Seminole High School, officials said administrators at the Ninth Grade Center received a report about a student possibly carrying a weapon. Deputies and investigators responded and recovered a gun from the student’s bag before taking the student into custody…
