KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – It is a First Warn Weather Day for high heat and thunderstorm chances. There is a ton to talk about.
THURSDAY: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in place for far northern Missouri near the Iowa state line from now through 10 a.m. A strong complex of thunderstorms is pushing into that area, bringing heavy rain, frequent lightning, hail, and gusty wind concerns. Heads up in northern Missouri for that morning commute.
The KC metro will remain dry, warm, and humid. The wind will be gusty all morning from the southwest at 30-40 mph.
