KCATA to open transit center Saturday for riders to purchase bus passes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is opening it’s East Village Transit Center this weekend to give riders a chance to purchase a physical pass.

KCATA announced that the East Village Transit Center will be open Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for riders to purchase a physical pass before the end of the grace period that allowed riders who did not have the fare to continue riding until the end of the period on June 14.

Beginning Monday, June 15, all riders must pay bus fare via one of the KCATA fare payment options…
