KANSAS CITY —A Kansas City man faces charges for an alleged DUI crash that occurred earlier this year in Kansas City.
Delton W. Cooper faces one count of Driving While Intoxicated Resulting in Death of Another, which carries five to 15 years in prison if convicted, according to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office.
On Feb. 1, Kansas City police responded to 43rd Street and Paseo Boulevard on an injury crash. Detectives determined Cooper was driving a white Chevy Equinox northbound on Paseo Boulevard at speed of nearly 100mph.
