Missouri soccer roots take center stage during World Cup excitement

SIKESTON – As World Cup fever sweeps across the country, Southeast Missouri State women’s soccer coach John Klein sees something familiar in the excitement.

For Klein, who has been around soccer for six decades, Missouri’s passion for the game is nothing new.
